I feel that one thing I have realized is love has to be able to love even if it isn't reciprocated.
Love in any form is not real love until it can still love without reciprocation. It is unconditional... so it ceases under no conditions.
This was perfectly exampled by Christ.
So how now can I live love to people who don't reciprocate?

i definitely agree with your point. i've been thinking a lot about what matt says about how he's called to love his wife no matter her response. loving like this is extreme and costly..but so deep and beautiful. i was reading a book and was reminded of Christ's extreme love in not rewarding and loving those who love you, but going out of your way to really love those that can offer you nothing in return. that's the mark of someone who can truly love. but wow..that's so much harder lived out than just theorized. i'm glad the Lord is taking you on this "love journey" and that we can share thoughts along the way.
